How to sell gold vessel

A friend of mine is an archaeologist. Last year, she worked at an archaeological site in Saudi Arabia. They were excavating an ancient city in one of the desert areas of the country. She had had very little experience because it was her last year at university but she says she learned a lot during that expedition. She also says they uncovered thousands of marvellous things, and each project participant could keep a small item for themselves. Among other things, my friend managed to find a small vessel which she kept for herself. It probably comes from the 15th century. Now she has decided to sell gold. I would rather keep it for myself if I were her, but she says she has found a collector who wants to buy the vessel and pay more than it is actually worth. Well, she"s the expert, so I won"t comment on that, but still, it was a rare occasion to keep something for herself, why sell gold vessel if she could keep it and show it to her grandchildren in the future, telling them of her work in Saudi Arabia? The decision is hers, of course. Who knows, maybe she will be able to collect some even more interesting pieces in the future. Tomorrow she"s meeting the potential buyer. The person has already estimated the amount of money he would give her. Perhaps he will change his mind and won"t decide to buy the vessel.
