Due to some extremely fortunate business travel scheduling, we were able to spend a lot of time together over the past few weeks… and we’ve invented a new game…. STRIP SCRABBLE. I know, it sounds kind of geeky, but it’s actually lot of fun to play, and (from our experience) a great way to start extended foreplay! After our first game we were definitely ready to get it on.

So, without further interruption, here are the rules to “STRIP SCRABBLE”, the world’s first Scrabble game “with benefits”!

• - The game is played under official Scrabble™ rules. Higher word scores will generate higher benefits!
  • 1-9 Nothing – try again
  • 10-14 You are rewarded with a kiss by your opponent on a location of player’s choice.
  • 15-19 Opponent must remove one article of clothing, opponent’s choice.
  • 20-29 Opponent must remove one article of clothing, player’s choice.
• 30+ Make out for “X” number of seconds, where “x”=your word score

Special circumstances:

- No more clothes to remove - affected player must then perform a “dare” (i.e. flash the neighbors out the window, serenade you with a romantic song or parade around like room like a fashion model)

- Use all 7 tiles at once - opponent loses an article of clothing and must pleasure you for 60 seconds - be imaginative!

- Winner’s benefit - “loser” must perform one extended act of intimacy (oral sex, be on top, etc.)

Doesn’t that sound like a whole lot of fun??? We thought so! Go try it and let us know how it turned out!

So you’re reading this blog site about me and Sweets? It gets a little complicated. Consider these hurdles:

- One of us is on the East Coast, one of us is on the West Coast

- I’m married and have a kid - she has a boyfriend

- I’m older than her - more than 5 years, but less than 10.

- We have different cultural & ethnic backgrounds

- We have different religious beliefs

- We both work for the same company and I’m her boss (yeah, I know)

….and in spite of all this, we seem to be somehow building a very strong relationship. How can this be possible? We were talking the other day about how tough it is to have a “normal” relationship, one where you can ((see/call/visit/go out with/have sex with/date)) the other person as much or as little as possible. So, in an affair, where you don’t have that freedom, how can you build, grow and sustain a real relationship? One that is not just based on sex (which, at least to my thinking, is what a lot of affairs turn into after a while). So is it harder, because you don’t have the time with each other? Or easier, because the expectations are lower?

My name is Sweets and I’m having an affair. This is the first time I have ever been involved in an “illegal” relationship, one that would shock and astound all of those who know me well. In spite of my strong moral code, a pretty clean track record with past relationships, and a relentlessly guilty conscious, I fell uncontrollably for this amazing man. How couldn’t I?
